Shimpo introduces its NEW 1000 lbs (2500N, 500KG) capacity manual test stand.

Designed for convenient testing in both TENSION and COMPRESSION, the FGS-1000H is easy to set-up and operate.

With its ability to mount the Shimpo JAVELIN, FGV-1000HX (1000 lbs, 2500N, 500KG) capacity digital force gauge, this system is a great fit for most force testing applications.

A highly accurate turn-wheel gives a precise 0.1″ travel per revolution. In addition, it’s rigged and rugged construction provides repeatable and reliable testing, time after time. The FGS-1000H features fully adjustable height ranges, customizable lengths (for different sample sizes) and the option to add a length/height meter.

With counter sunk (force gauge) mounting holes, a self aligning, pre-tapped sliding sample base plate, the FGS-1000H provides a welcome alternative to utilizing existing force gauges, grips attachments and accessories.

FGS-1000H users can also use all existing ranges of Shimpo FGE/FGV-X and the new Dart 2.0 FGV-0.5 up to FGV-200XY (0.5 lbs to 200 lbs)!
In addition, it will also fit other manufacturers force gauges.

CHATILLON® MT500 Mechanical Test Stand

The CHATILLON® MT500 Series mechanical test stand is an easy-to-use solution for force measurement applications up to 500 lbf (2.5kN) capacities. The test stand may be equipped with a quick-action lever or precision handwheel for controlling crosshead speed and travel. The MT500 test stand can be bench mounted, wall mounted or positioned horizontally. Vertical clearances are available from 750mm (29.5 inch) up to 1500mm (60 inch). Standard stroke is 6 inches (150mm), although longer strokes can be accommodated as a special order.

The MT500 Series features an innovative design that maximizes working space and simplifies operation and maintenance. The single column design with 150mm (6 in) throat is ideal for large specimens. The removable platen is designed to accommodate metric and imperial threaded fixtures. Special gauge adapter make gauge alignment automatic. Options include a digital travel indicator, capable of displaying travel up to 0.01mm (0.0005 inch) and column ruler which is graduated in millimeters and inches.

The MT500 Series includes hook, compression plate, adapters and gauge mounting hardware.

AMETEK supplies a variety of cables for interfacing with Chatillon® force gauges, force testers, printers and personal computers.

Digital force gauges have a Hirose 12 connector. LTCM Series force testers have a 9-pin D-style connector.

Cable pinouts are available in the downloads section under Dimension drawings.
