The Chatillon® CS2Plus digital force testers are revolutionary systems optimized for production testing applications, including medical devices, plastics, packaging, textiles, rubber and electronics to name a few. No personal computer is required; no proprietary software is required; no knowledge of programming languages is required. This easy, flexible and affordable Tester uses a 2 in 1 Laptop Console in both Production and Laboratory environments.
Two options are available. Both the CS2Plus-225 and CS2Plus-1100 provide an easy-to-use, intuitive and straightforward method for tensile, compression, sheer, flexural, peel, or advanced multi-stage testing that conform to ISO or ASTM testing procedures. With the CSPlus Series you can perform:
-
Limit testing to load, displacement, height or time
-
Break testing – sharp or percentage
-
Multi-stage, cyclic tests and height measurements
-
Peel testing
-
Spring Testing
-
Capture 2nd Peak
-
RS-232 Auto Result Export
When repetitive testing and exporting of results is important, but you don’t need advanced materials test functionality, the CS2Plus is an excellent choice.
The Starrett DFC Series may be used as a high-accuracy handheld force gage or as a digital controller for use with the FMM Digital Force Testers. As a controller, the DFC Series serves as the universal interface to your digital force tester. Set up your tests and configure load limits, distance limits, break limits, crosshead travel direction, crosshead speed and more all through the gage.
The DFC features a measurement accuracy of 0.1% full scale with internal data sampling at 25kHz. Display resolution is 10,000:1. The DFC Series features Bluetooth®, USB and RS-232 communications plus digital I/O.
Save up to 99 test results in internal memory. View historical and statistical results.
The DFC Series features a high-resolution 320 x 240 pixel color display with an adjustable backlight. The instrument is powered using a lithium ion battery. The gage is charged using the standard USB cable supplied. Information can be display in multiple languages: English, Deutsch, Portugues, Spanish, French, Italian, Chinese and more.
The DFC Series is supplied with a full set of testing adapters, USB cable and a NIST-traceable certificate of calibration. The DFC Series has a standard 3-year warranty.
The DFE3 Series offers the best price performance of any digital force gauge available today. This compact, easy-to-use force gauge is designed for
basic and complex applications. Ideal for handheld or test stand applications.
Measurement accuracy is better than 0.2% full scale in integral load cell models. A large, easy-to-read, high resolution, full color LCD display supports a
variety of standard gauge functions including normal and peak readings, high/low limits, setpoints, pass/fail results, statistical results, load averaging, loadcell actuation and direction. Loads are displayed in ozf, gf, lbf, kgf and N units. The display can be inverted and displayed results may be “hidden” from the operator. The DFE3 also offers password protection for gauge set ups
The DFG is our basic force gage. The gage measures force at an accuracy of better than 0.2% full scale. Additionally, the DFG Scan be used to measure force with Starrett FMM digital force tester or MTL lever-actuated manual force tester or an MTH hand¬wheel-operated manual force tester. Unlike the Starrett DFC Force Controller, the DFG cannot be used to control the FMM digital force tester.
The DFS3 Series offers the best price performance of any digital force gauge available today. This compact, easy-to-use force gauge is designedfor basic and complex applications. Ideal for handheld or test stand applications, the DFS3 may be equipped with integral loadcells or smart remotesensors for load measurement or torque measurement.Measurement accuracy is better than 0.1% full scale in integral load cell models. A large, easy-to-read, high resolution, full color LCD display supports avariety of standard gauge functions including normal and peak readings, high/low limits, setpoints, pass/fail results, statistical results, load averaging, %and sharp break detection, loadcell actuation and direction. Loads are displayed in ozf, gf, lbf, kgf and N un
The DFX3 Series from Chatillon is a powerful and easy-to-use digital force gauge designed for handheldor test stand use. Whether performing basic force measurements or capturing peak values in tension andcompression, the DFX3 delivers dependable, accurate results. Its compact design, full-color display, andadvanced usability make it ideal for quality assurance, production, and field applications.
These compact and economical test stands are ideal for low force applications with relatively small sample sizes. The ES10 and ES20 produce both tensile and compressive force up to 100 lbf (500 N). Choose between lever operation for quick tests or hand wheel operation for better control of motion. Combine these test stands with Mark-10 digital force gauges and gripping fixtures to create complete testing solutions.
The ES30 is a versatile test stand ideal for many compression and tensile testing applications.
It can accept a wide variety of sample shapes and sizes and can be configured in many positions due to modular design. Convenient side-mounted hand wheel operation enables the user to easily and accurately test up to 200 lbf (1 kN) of force, with repeatable results. Use the ES30 with any Mark-10 force gauge and force gripping fixtures to create a complete testing solution.
The new FG-3000 Series digital force gaugesare the choice for simple, cost-effective tension and compression testing. Combining one of themost compact housings, yet maintaining a large back-lit LCD,these units were designed to fit perfectly in the hand for ease ofuse. The multi-language FG-3000’s provide menu programmingfor intuitive set-up of the instrument to your desired requirements.Three modes of operation are selectable: Track mode displayslive readings, Peak mode records the maximum reading sensedduring the test, and Pre-set mode which activates user definedhigh and low limit set points. The programmable limits provide aquick visual and audible indication if a test passes or fails. In addition, a comparator output enables integration of the instrumentinto your quality system for repetitive testing such as on production lines.

Shimpo’s manual test stands offer the ability to obtain accurate, consistent results without the high cost of a motorized system.
Our lever operated stands are ideal for rapid testing applications and the hand wheel stands are excellent for applications where more precise control is necessary.
Both the lever and the hand wheel stands are available in various capacities and can ensure accurate, consistent test results with the addition of a Shimpo Instruments digital or mechanical force gage.
Nearly all manufacturers’ gauges are compatible with Shimpo’s test stands for incredible versatility. These stands are designed for precision, balance, and durability. Therefore they are perfectly suited for measuring a limitless range of materials such as wire, spring, plastic, paper cord, tubing, glass and composites.
The Series FGS-100E Vertical, Motorized Force Test Stands combined with the Shimpo line of superior quality force gauges, create a complete force measurement system capable of handling the most precise testing applications.
The test stand’s all steel construction makes them remarkably rugged while performing with precision, providing the reliability to tackle a multitude of applications.
The FGS-100E’s possess simplified operation with their 7 button key-pad and emergency stop button, eliminating lengthy training typical of similar test stands. With four modes of operation (manual, jog, single cycle, continuous) various single tests or repetitive tests can be achieved and selected with the push of a button.
The user can quickly change the speed units displayed on the LCD from mm/min to inches/min to satisfy their test requirement or preference. With manually adjustable high and low stop limits, the test stands are designed for minimal time necessary to adjust for the next test. The FGS-100E motorized stands have a capacity rating of 110 lbs (50 kgf) in either fast [0.78-23.60 in/min (20-600 mm/min)] movement operation or slow speed [0.23-7.00 in/min (6-180 mm/min)] operation models. When connected to a Shimpo FGV Force Gauge, the gauge’s programmable overload setting is communicated to the test stand, allowing the stand to stop at the overload set point and prevent potential damage to the gauge’s sensor.
